If you have anything at all in your store, the import may not work. The order I listed worked for me just now. It may be that you had the system install a schema for you to start. Again, peruse all the docs, and let me know where it's lacking, and I'll fix it for you.

There is a requirement to have the LDAP "People" and "Groups" organizational units in the database to import LDIF files. I believe I covered it in one of the several articles. Read through all of them, and circle back around with any questions. Let me know if you need any further help... We can get through this. :)
